The Village DPW will begin monthly chipping starting Tuesday, May 5th. Please place your orderly piles of branches and brush at the road by 7:00 AM on the first Tuesday of the month. The DPW will only come by once. Please do not place piles out after they have already been down your street. Thanks!
Recycling Services Resume May 5th
The County recycling services located on Quicksilver Lane will resume on May 5th. The recycling truck will be bringing back the dumpsters in the morning. If you are itching to get rid of that pile of recycling please wait until the afternoon to be sure that the dumpsters are there. Thanks!
Granger Waste Services – Edmore’s New Garbage Contractor
Dear Residents of Edmore,
Starting on April 7th Granger Waste Services will be the Village’s new garbage contractor. Nothing will change about the date, time, or service level to residents. This coming Tuesday please place your garbage in your Waste Management carts just like you normally would. After your Waste Management cart has been emptied please leave it at the street. It will be retrieved and replaced with a new cart from Granger. There is no cost to the residents for the new carts.

April Water/Sewer Bill Due May 16th
At a special council meeting on March 27th the Village Council voted unanimously to extend the due date of April water/sewer bills to May 16th. You will still receive your April bill like normal and If you wish to still pay your bill in April please do so by utilizing the mail or our drop box. Your May bill will also be sent out as normal and will also be due on May 16th. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Michigan Small Business Relief Grant
The Michigan Small Business Relief Grant provides up to $10 million in grant funding to one or more local economic development organizations or nonprofit economic development organizations to provide grants up to $10,000 to support certain small businesses statewide that have realized a significant financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. $1,000,000 in grant funds have been made available to Region 4, of which Montcalm County is a part.

Recycling Program Suspended Until Further Notice
Recycling in Edmore is a service administered by the County. The recycling center where the Montcalm County recycling is brought has temporarily shutdown due to the Covid 19 virus. This closure has forced the County to suspend the recycling program until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and will publicly post when this service is restored.
